MyPGC Appointments

The Prince George’s County Division of Vital Records is open to the public for in-person services by appointment. Walk-in services are accommodated on a case-by-case basis, and availability is based on our daily schedule. Appointments are preferred and strongly encouraged to ensure timely service.

To help ensure an efficient visit, please review the following appointment guidelines before arriving.

Arrive on time for appointment. There is a 10-minute grace period. If you arrive more than 10 minutes late, you may be asked to reschedule or experience a longer wait time for service.
Check in at the front desk when you arrive.
Provide all necessary documents and complete either the birth or death certificate application, based on your appointment.
Payment is due on the day of service. Acceptable forms of payment include cash, money orders, and credit or debit cards (Visa, Discover, MasterCard). We do not accept Apple Pay or any form of tap payments. Physical cards are required.
